Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Sharelf and its share extension, provided by Xingji Wang, operating as Whatsin Lab (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use.

You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms, or use the app with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision where legally permitted. You must meet applicable local age requirements and the requirements of the store through which you obtain the app.

For copies obtained through the App Store, your license to the app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom EULA is supplied with the app. These Terms supplement that license; the applicable EULA controls in the event of a conflict concerning the app license. Apple’s applicable store terms also continue to apply.

Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. These Terms do not limit permissions granted under those licenses or rights that cannot be restricted by law.

You retain any rights you hold in the content and notes you provide. You authorize processing of that content only as needed to perform the app features you use, such as storage, synchronization, previews, summaries, and sharing. Saving a link does not transfer ownership of the linked content to you or to us.

You are responsible for the content you save or share and for having any permissions required to use it. Do not use Sharelf to violate laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malicious content, gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the app or connected services.

Sharelf helps organize and share links; it does not own or endorse linked websites, music, artwork, or other third-party content. Access to that content may require a separate account, subscription, payment, or agreement with its provider.

Third parties may change or remove content, restrict access, or discontinue services. Previews, metadata, artwork, and links may be inaccurate, incomplete, expired, or unavailable. You remain responsible for complying with the terms of services you access through the app.

Sharelf’s App Store age rating describes the app’s own content. Linked websites, music, artwork, and other third-party content are not rated by us and may not be suitable for all ages.

Automated summaries and classifications may contain mistakes or omit context. Review them against the original source before relying on or sharing them. They are provided for convenience and are not professional advice. Availability may vary by device, operating system, language, region, and model availability.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and any commitments made to you at purchase. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continued compatibility, or availability of external services.

Keep independent copies of information important to you. Sharelf is not an archival or backup service. Synchronization delays, device failures, software errors, or third-party changes can affect stored information and downloaded resources. Discontinuing use or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete cloud data or previously shared copies; see the Privacy Policy for deletion options.

Any price for obtaining the app is shown by the relevant store before purchase. Store payment and refund procedures apply, together with your statutory rights. These Terms do not themselves enroll you in a subscription or authorize a recurring charge. Any future paid feature will disclose its price and applicable terms before purchase.

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties concerning accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The warranties and limitations in your applicable app license also apply.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain unaffected.

You may stop using the app at any time. License termination is governed by the applicable EULA. Provisions that reasonably need to continue, including ownership, liability, and dispute provisions, survive termination to the extent permitted by law.

We may revise these Terms and will provide notice of material changes where required. Changes take effect on the stated effective date, subject to any notice or acceptance requirements imposed by law. Changes will not remove rights already accrued to you.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections or your right to bring claims in the courts available to you under applicable law. Contact us first if you would like help resolving a concern; doing so is not a condition of exercising your legal rights.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
